How does it Work?

Hydro is rather simple compared to other sources of electricity, well first the water from a river or lake is damed and water builds up behind the dam then it flows down pipes usually angled at about 45 degress as the pressure is extremally high by this time the water plumets down the pipes and into a generator house at the bottom spinning the turbines in the generator house there for generating electricity.

In the picture above is a diagram of a Hydro generator for powering somebody’s holiday cabin, keep in mind the fact that Hydro tasmania generators are much much bigger.
